This art has a hidden agenda. I chose an image that spoke to me, because I needed inspiration. Getting something new is a great way to get myself back in the gym. I have been neglecting my own health to care for everyone else, and then Dolly Parton died because she didn't prioritize balance in her own life, taking care of her husband while neglecting herself. I need to learn from that. Yes, I am tired every day from running two households and being a sole caregiver. But I still need to take care of me.
Knowing myself, I know that a new workout outfit, or new shoes, or even a unique and beautiful towel, can be the difference between my skipping the gym or actually going.
I had been looking for that spark. So, I should be thanking you, because who knows how long I would have waited otherwise. Now, I'm energized. It sounds silly, but it's true. 😃
