I finally replaced our cable FritzBox with a modem I can put in bridge mode. Latency down 30ms and hopefully no restarts of this thing every four to six weeks.
Now to figure out how to compensate for the lack of static IP which Vodafone doesn’t offer when you bring your own modem.
I’ll either simply use backup line static IP or finally deploy Netbird. I don’t think I’ll bother to run dynamic DNS, even if that wouldn’t be too bad to setup.
