Finally got my e-bike back from to the shop at #REI, exactly three weeks after the torque sensor failed. They didn’t charge me, as an apology.
Lessons learned:
— REI stopped working with #Banfang after the e-CTY 1.1 model. Why? Dunno, but maybe the failed torque sensor is a clue.
— If you need parts, they are all in a warehouse in Redmond and REI will ship them to the store by freight — which is slow.
— The long-term prospects for being able to repair this bike are a concern. #biketooter
