Did you have any time to review my proposals for adding nested read transactions?
It is working perfectly in Meilisearch (in production across 500+ instances) and is a non-breaking addition that unlocks tons of performance gains on multi-core machines (every machine these days). I made it C99-compatible by using mutexes, so it would be cool to take a look at my patch and tell me if you think I can improve anything.
