Most people don't have 35k in their bank account and they also don't get a credit that high. So, even if they would save money in the long run, they simply can't make that investment.
Btw, 'supercharger' cars are a niche product; most cars are standing still like 95% of the time and are driven only short range 99% of the time, there's no need for rapid charging.
