I have an extremely strong "the person who named it gets to decide the spelling and pronunciation" bias, but I'm willing to make an exception for writing Wordpress without capitalizing the P because that asshole hates it *so* much when people do that.
If I was WP Engine I'd just rebrand to "Wp Engine" and call it a day.
