"content": "Hello, I guess it's time for some sort of an #introduction.\n\nI'm Urho, 30-something software engineer from Finland. Traditionally I've been more of a lurker on various social media sites, never really posting anything, but now I figured I would join the #fediverse and actually try engaging from time to time :blobcat:.\n\nIn February I quit my job, put my belongings in storage and left for a year-long trip around the world. I do field recording as a hobby, so I took a recorder and a couple of microphones with me. The plan is to record all sorts of soundscapes from different countries, both urban and nature. I haven't really posted any of my recordings anywhere yet, but now I am planning on putting some of them (and some photos too) up on my personal website, as soon as I learn how to use Wordpress properly.\n\nWhat else... I enjoy running, watching TV-series, occasionally playing video games, and practicing the piano (a little over 2 years now). Although, I don't really have a lot of time for any of those until I get back from my travels :meow_smile_sweat:. \n\nThat's about it, I guess. Happy to be here!",
