yeah, to be fair, Lucas (1961) and Penrose (1989) used Gödel to argue limits on machine mind.
NIST doesn't mention them or me. No Lucas, no Penrose, no Franzén, nothing from the sixty years of literature on Gödelian limits and machines.
And most damning is NIST just republished the Lucas–Penrose argument almost verbatim.
