to say that God--the whole God--in His entire being--suffered for us in flesh like our own out of His compassion for us isn't to say He wasn't at the same time transcendentally situated in detachment from it, like a Lord of yoga. Gods being is simply inexhaustibly infinite and impartite in a way that's very difficult to fathom in the context of His incarnations. how can a being be free from maya as God and also take on the burden of maya for our sanctification? one day maybe i'll understand this.
