It's weird though how ethnic Europeans and those with European ancestry are talked about as a race even though that distinct group doesn't exist. They've even stolen the word Caucasian to the point that it is used by governments as a 'neutral' synonym for white while the word Caucasian comes from the Caucasus and the Caucasian race (terminology no longer used) ranges from western Europe all the way to southern Asia.

People with ancestry from the north of Norway to the south of India and everyone in between share their ethnic roots.
