I volunteered to put my event skills to use, to support the very queer gym community I’m part of, and to meet new people and hopefully spark friendships and local connections. And I did! Met quite a few folks during setup and downtime and had a blast doing it.

I’ve also rekindled my gym motivation. I doubt I will deadlift any time soon, but who knows?

You can take the Zaddy out of events, but you can never take the events out of the Zaddy 🕺🏼

And I’m def volunteering next year.
