That’s much better. I removed the guitar-style tuners from this Eastman soprano uke (good quality Grovers, but still a pain to use and aesthetically completely the wrong thing for a small ukulele) and fitted Gotoh UPTs instead. They look much like friction pegs but have internal planetary gears with a much better ratio than the guitar type (1:4 instead of about 14:1) and very smooth action.

All I have to do now is wait about a month until the nylon strings have settled down 😁
