Most of my plant IDs these days come from iNaturalist. This St John's Wort is one of the few plants whose name (common and scientific) I remember from when I grew up around here. I was quite interested in the medicinal wild plants at that time.
That hemlock versus Queen Anne's Lace thing is kind of scary! That's part of the reason why I was never gung ho about actually collecting wild plants.
Rewilding's a fun thing. It's exciting seeing plants coming up that belong there, and oh, so many! different insects that are attracted by the plants, and all the birds, and the different lizards, and on and on and on. Rewilding is welcoming the nature spirits.
