Been meaning to send this toot for about a month, but I wanted to give the pertinent episodes a re-listen to make sure I didn't miss anything important:
Many thanks to the folks at nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpq805ccmtvxul6j8unw5d2auxj8fxsmtvs82mhtfdvasql86shdqaqghdf57 (nprofile…df57) for their kind shout-outs. I'm chuffed you guys liked my little nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpq7wuu486x826curwe8z82mrrw4uq6n2f4qaa0gj9nxceskjhcfn2s0c2ppf (nprofile…2ppf) [script. You're right that I changed it from using the top 100 list to the top 400+, just because I didn't want it to keep recommending the same distros over and over again. It sounds like it really took you to rarely trodden places in #DistroWatch, and that makes me happy.
If you guys have any suggestions or requests for the script, just let me know. I thought I might add a history feature to it, so you can recall previous distro recommendations.
I recall nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpqf6ssulvpgrffxrrhcecetqg6nwx2t872mq38yc9fdk4mc9gl2pvqz3ps4h (nprofile…ps4h) mentioning an article about color accuracy in #astrophotography called something like "Blue Lions in the Serengeti," but I couldn't find it anywhere searching online. Would you happen to still have a link to it, Andrew?
P.S., Please tell nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpq007v73fmc377yzyezjuq4kv0uvddqet3yshcr48jevvem799aefsehf0qm (nprofile…f0qm) that he's free to use whatever office suite he likes, but nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyd968gmewwp6kyqpqk8dc8n2gp005xaguhmfu4j4u0gxrxqfmtghcd56k24n7pjps49ns2ke762 (nprofile…e762) definitely has a [ribbon mode], likely included out of compassion for those suffering from RISS: Ribbon Interface Stockholm Syndrome 😝
(Also, Dave, if you have any other "this interface looks like it's from 20 years ago" app recommendations, I'm all ears, bruv, because that was the high water mark for UI Design as far as I'm concerned! 😄 )
All razzing aside, thanks for all the good work, and looking forward to the next episode! Cheers. :D
