When is the last time you had a crush on someone? What was it like for you?

I was just randomly thinking about when I first developed a crush on my most recent ex. I was such a dork. But I was falling hard.

I remember taking a walk one morning and there was pep in my step and a smile on my face that wouldn't go away. The birds were singing and I wanted to scream to the world how I felt about this guy.

Every other walker I walked by got the bubbliest "hello!" whereas I'd usually look down at my feet and keep walking. I felt light. I felt an energy I hadn't felt in so long.

That shit was pure dopamine making me into a fool. Those feelings were so strong. The beginning of that relationship was crazy. I was so into him.

I look back now and am like damn...that felt good at the time, but who tf was I? It was like I was drugged. Like I was a whole different person lol.
