My Marvel of Four Seasons lettuce germinated yesterday in a pot, with two seeds sprouting in the morning.
By yesterday afternoon, more than a dozen seeds germinated.
Took 2 days to germinate after planting, compared to 3 days last year when I planted lettuce in August.
I learned lettuce won't germinate when soil temperature is high.
So I put seeds & potting soil in the fridge for two days before planting in a pot.
