I had the same thing. I made straight A's in school. Aced every test without even trying. I never studied at all. I simply remembered every word I read, and every word that the teacher said.
Later, in my 30's, I came down with Lyme Disease. Did some brain damage, and now that super power is gone. I can watch a movie now and then watch it again 6 months later still in suspense.
