also learned the hard way: don't accidentally add 50,000 entries to your production db while attempting to benchmark your system.
luckily I was able to delete them all with one command, but didn't notice until the next day.
lesson learned the hard way: don't put non-ASCII characters in a SQL_ASCII encoded postgres db
