Inside information, I maintained large refrigeration systems with cooling towers. You know what makes cooling towers, like for data centers, very difficult to maintain? Things that clog up the water pump strainers. Cottonwood seeds, grape seeds, things that grow around the area and get into the system.
Grapes grow fast from seeds. Birds love grapes and use the warmer lighter air from the cooling towers to gain elevation, while they poop astonishing magnitudes of grape seeds into the tower water spray deflectors. Oh, some of the grape seeds sprout in those deflectors and are hell to clean.
Cottonwood seeds drift through the air and clog everything up in mass.
Watch the birds around the data center cooling towers. They are the resistance. Help them with the vegetation they need.
