On the "AI" topic, I cannot find it right now, but I saw something pass by in the feed where a developer was basically claiming "AI" writes all their code. Something about being a "10x developer" but dependent on AI.
Is that a thing now? As in "AI" can generate code well enough that it is super-productive to just let "AI" write code and all you do is kinda "drive" it with prompts/queries? (I don't know about the lingo here, I know nothing practical about uses of LLM "AI".)
Maybe it's best if I just give up on ever being a software engineer again... just go stack Tesco shelves or something. It all seems a bit pointless really.
