Also when you're a financing body, you basically spend 90% of your time trying to filter out people who are (to a greater or lesser extent) just trying to take the money and run - and it's always been like this.
But it used to be human made low effort slop, asking for huge donations and promising the moon and stars but with no real KPIs of any substance.
I can only imagine how horrible it has gotten now that every somewhat shady low effort individual has access to a personal slop-cannon. I would absolutely take the exact same decision as them, regardless of how good AI *can* be used.
