Anyway, on the #3DPrinter topic... how's Anycubic?

My main limitation is the <150mm3 scale of the bed in my relatively ancient FlashForge Adventurer 3Pro. It has its issues, but for small items it does great and I can get good results with ABS, PET, and even (with nursing) TPU as well as PLA of course. But only for small items.

For filaments other than PLA I am mainly fine with keeping it small, but there are larger items I'd like to do sometimes for which just PLA is fine. So an open-format printer is fine. I am rarely in a hurry so I think that means a normal "bedslinger" printer s fine, though some of them have pretty mad print speeds these days.

So this 420(blaze it)x420x500 Anycubic Kobra 3 Max *with* a 4 spool AMS is pretty tempting at £500: https://uk.anycubic.com/products/kobra-3-max-combo?variant=49460900299037

TBH, I am not 100% sure I need the multi-colour and just the printer is £379: https://uk.anycubic.com/products/kobra-3-max
