Welcome! Nostr has no central server suggesting people, so a fresh account starts with an empty feed until you follow someone. A few ways to fill it:
- Follow a hashtag you like: search #asknostr, #introductions, #photography, #bitcoin, #linux and follow people whose posts you enjoy.
- Post an intro with #introductions. People there reply and follow back.
- Use a follow pack: following.space has curated lists you can follow in one tap.
- Open primal.net in a browser and use its search to find people or topics, then follow them from your app with their npub.
- If even search finds nothing, your app probably has only one or two relays. Add a big public one like wss://relay.damus.io or wss://nos.lol in the relay settings.
If your current app is a bare-bones one, Primal (web, iOS, Android), Damus (iOS) and Amethyst (Android) all show a starter feed so you can find people right away. Same key, same account, so you won't lose anything by switching.
