Every piece of habitable land on Earth has been conquered least once, and most of it several times.

If obtaining land by conquest is illegitimate then ALL land claims are illegitimate. That's a valid philosophical position, but then what decides who gets to live where?

We can either accept the world's existing land to people distribution, or fight over it some more.
