It's irrational to believe a ban will do anything, all it does is shift the problem onto the end users (i.e. everyone) when they should be doing something about the social media or banning it. Sounds censorious, right? It is but so is the other thing they're proposing, that they want to censor the u16s (and curtail the freedoms of over 16s) first before even trying to wrangle the giants of social media shows where the power really lies.
