2025 has already been a good year for #TypeScript:
• Type stripping increases conceptual clarity of TS, has made emitting .js faster, works well without source maps (via blank spaces) and doesn’t require a tsconfig.json. https://2ality.com/2025/01/nodejs-strip-type.html
• All server-side runtimes can now run TS directly: Deno, Bun, Node.js.
