#WordWeavers 8/24 Do you use different voices or types of language when writing? In what contexts, how are they distinct?
Yes. In my fantasy story, I have invented words for things we don't have in this world, and also some new swear words.
In my superhero story, my MC uses a lot of street slang, some of which I culled from the urban dictionary and courier culture, and some of which I made up.
These choices are meant to enhance character voice and story flavor.
