The solution to Hamas stealing and hoarding supplies from the population is not to then restrict those supplies, but to make the supplies so abundant that Hamas's power is diminished.

In other words, if Hamas steals 80% of the food, then supply four times as much.

When it comes to other types of supply, like power and fuel, the situation is certainly more nuanced, but a blockade is not the answer.

Returning to the topic of Hamas, though, this recent news shows what many Israel supports have known, that Hamas is responsible, or at least bears a great deal of responsibility for the starvation of the Gazan people, and that far more food is and was always in Gaza than had been reported by Hamas and then parroted by Western media.

With that said, I still believe the blockade was the wrong move and facilitated dire circumstances.
