Beware of techniques that data centers are using to weasel their way into getting accepted into your area. We have a local community 5K called The Turtle Krawl that benefits the Sea Turtle Preservation Society. We have a great local group of volunteers that does rounds to monitor and protect turtle nests on the beach, rescue stranded turtles, and educate the public. Turns out a data center company called QTS started quietly sponsoring the 5K a few years ago, and is now the premier sponsor.
