People go nuts over how smart they are, but neglect to mention how TOUGH they are.
Blasting wind, rain, and snow? Out there in it.
Triple digit heat? Wearing the same clothes but doesn't slow down.
They eat anything, they're agile for their sizes yet can still soar...just amazing birds.
Saw one with my kids at the Point Defiance zoo near Seattle, and with a high pitched but very human voice asked me "How ya doin." I was the only one who heard it, no one believed me, and I fucking KNOW that was on purpose and I respect the fuck out of that
