this very large Forest Red Gum (E. tereticornis) in the #SevenHillsBushlandReserve toppled over in wild and wet weather last year. a council arborist cut the trunk (it was horizontal) and then skilfully levered the stock back into its cavity. now, months later, it has sprouted new growth. our bushcare group thought we'd lost this magnificent tree but were gratified to see it live on.
