Investor State Dispute Settlement ahoy....
Zengwei An, chief executive of Jingye British Steel has said that the British Govt. should 'respect & protect the legitimate rights & interests of Jingye as a foreign investor throughout this proces'..... which sounds to me like a veiled threat to invoke a costly ICSD arbitration case, which could cause some legal problems for the UK Govt.
Might be a bump in there road in any prospective nationalisation....
