I remember when I stopped using Twitter ...
*twinkly fading-back-in-time music*
Twitter changed the algorithm affecting my account so that I only saw tweets from my "favourite" accounts.
Some of them commented on how much they were enjoying Twitter RECENTLY.
I, however, wasn't using Twitter to "enjoy" memes and jokes and people saying things that I agree with. Well, not mainly. I was using Twitter for news and opinions and pictures of kittens & puppies. But the change also diminished the presence of awkward squad accounts I was following and anti-imperialist tweets.
When Xitter presents itself as a wonderful place to be it is lying.
