I was wondering, is it safe to remove some desktop applications that I don't use, like Mozilla Thunderbird, Seamonkey, etc.
I know Slackware is recommended to be used as a "full install", but I don't think desktop applications like these are vital to the rest of the system, right?
And what about some applications that are part of KDE, like Kmail, Alligator...?
Maybe removing these might cause some trouble? Or they may get re-installed when doing install-new or something like that...?
