For all I know, we pushed past equal maintenance efforts sometime in 2023-24 - in favor of #Linux, mind you.
From what I've seen, people tend to vastly overestimate how much time it takes to "fix" their Linux (whatever distro it is) and at the same time just take all the things they do to keep #Windows barely working as "part of the deal".
The rest is confirmation bias.
