Really, this three-week plus run of no rain or snow in January has me a bit worried. Last year we didn't get enough precipitation really, but in the end the mountain snowpack still fed the rivers, lakes and aquifers around here until Fall.

But this year the snowpack growth has been even worse and losing nearly a month of precipitation mid-Winter certainly isn't going to help. Unless February and March really dump on us, the #PNW (Pacific Northwest) might have a real problem come August.
