#WritersCoffeeClub Oct. 6: What might an inattentive reader miss in your work?

The amount of attention paid to time. When push comes to shove and I lose track, I'll search out any and all time references and add them up to make sure that I have a full timeline of events, so when something happened "a few months ago," it's in line with every mention of time skips and waking up or going to sleep I could find.

That and, [as I mentioned](https://tech.lgbt/@bluestarultor/117383571684163410 ), sense of space.

And frankly while I'm at it how much the decor or materials can say about a space. Flower language especially; if there's a flower somewhere it's because I scoured all the sites I could find looking for one with the meaning I wanted. There's no memorizing all that, but it contains hidden messages for anyone who cares to look it up. XD
#ScribesAndMakers Oct. 4: Do you include details in your work that are important to you even though no one else will likely notice?

I'm very intentional with my details. If there's a detail and I make a point of mentioning it, it's because I think it's worth saying.

What people may or may not notice is the sense of space. You could *build* my environments. I'll even blueprint some of them for consistency.
