Shopping on a Monday before Christmas is horrible.
I was stressed by the crowds, and stimming, and really wanting to just run away. But looking at the other people shopping I still seemed to have more consideration, and awareness of my surroundings than most other people shopping. I was also keeping track of Sue and my Mum as they both did their own things in the crowds.
Why do people pushing trolleys have no concept of where their trolleys are, and if they are blocking a whole aisle or pinch point while they ponder their shopping list, or their phone!
It is like they are wearing blinkers and have no concept of other people in their surroundings. I am sure they are coping fine, in their own worlds, I just don't understand how.
Granted I don't really 'see' people, but I am aware of the sentient bodies milling around, and their general trajectories of travel within a supermarket, so I can ensure I am not obstructing.
