It's intersex awareness day! Cool. I'm not super knowledgeable on this topic, & I'm not going to try to speak for experiences I don't have, so I'm not going to write a whole big thing.
BUT
Here's a thing: when conservatives write laws to ban gender affirming care for minors, they ALWAYS make sure there is an exception for unnecessary surgeries on intersex kids (including infants) which they are too young to consent to or even understand, just so they "look normal".
