I finished shelling the yellow heirloom bush beans (aka Buckskin) last night.

These are a small bush bean that, in my experience, can be extremely productive. The shells are soft so are easy on the fingers.

The harvest felt light this year and, if this were typical, probably not worth growing. I will say this can be a great bean for short seasons, always the first to ripen.
