Very creepy seeing all the superfluous national guard troops roaming around Washington, DC's Union Station. Brings back memories to me of the days in NYC just after the 9/11 terrorist attacks when there was actual fear in the air. Today, these young men & women in fatigues with guns just look silly & bored. Crime rates in DC were already way down before they showed up. There is no point to their deployment in Blue cities. Plus, they're costing a lot to taxpayers. #nationalguard #dc
