I took a peek. Honking and cheering were heard off-camera. Briefly, not all the time.
I seem to remember that during the Obama administration, Michelle's mother stayed with them to help look after the girls, but when she had a free evening one of her favorite activities was reported to be going to cultural events at the Kennedy Center. That tells me a lot about both presidents. All three presidents, really.
