Wow, exactly what I mean! I am vaguely aware of recent issues arising around Gaiman (haven't read his work, only watched the Good Omens series) but had NO idea anything emerged re the other two.
I concur: it's pretty tough. I know for me that I will not knowingly contribute to the income of living anti-trans or anti-queer authors. But of course, who knows if the ones who are loud/public about it are the only ones? 😐
