This is quite strange.
I definitely know the running order of the broadcast version of last night's 7pm episode of #TOTP because I used it to set up the Now Playing bot. The first two tracks were S Club 7 - Reach, and Stephen Gateley - New Beginning.
And indeed that's what the TOTP Archives website confirms was on the original broadcast back in the year 2000: https://totparchive.co.uk/episode.php?id=1890
But if you go to the iPlayer version (https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0032wtl/top-of-the-pops-09062000), the first two tracks are Len - Cryptik Souls Crew, and Doves - Catch The Sun.
The rest of the stream then proceeds as per the broadcast version. How very strange.
Thanks to [@xanderl.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy](https://bsky.brid.gy/ap/did:plc:6hocmhdpduiq2neqyiay375l ) for pointing out the iPlayer version of last night's first #totp has Doves on it instead of Gateley.
That would have been song of the night.
