To start sensitive discussions around gun violence, we recommend Gabby Giffords Won't Back Down, the story of gun violence survivor Gabby Giffords, and our free teaching guides.
The team that worked on our teaching resources for Gabby Giffords Won't Back Down included gun violence survivors — and it shows. These materials are powerful, accessible and not political at all. Our Gabby Giffords Won't Back Down Learning Guide also includes our Facilitation Guidelines for Group Discussions, to help students voice things they need to talk about.
