Raising a teenager (and soon two, yikes!) is quite the roller coaster ride. My thirteen-year-old daughter alternates between being somewhat friendly with me and hating me for reasons she doesn't feel the need to share with me. Like most thirteen-year-old daughters, I assume.

And a few days ago, out of nowhere, she showed me an unfinished drawing after not showing me any of her creations for about a year. For some unknown reason, she even allowed me to share it with you. A few hours later, she was back to barely speaking to me again for other unknown reasons.



But I did get to see one of my daughter's drawings this year. And you get to see it too. Don't hold your breath waiting for seeing it finished, though. I'm not.
