On Saturday we joined El Este Emprende 2026 (#CREE2026) at the Alianza Juvenil de La Romana, Dominican Republic, for the panel “AI, Money, Bitcoin and Opportunities for the East”, with Carlos Gutiérrez and Ernesto Folch, moderated by Zaidy Mariano.
We talked about the opportunities the region has in tourism, remittances and commerce, and about a clear path: education → adoption → commerce. La Romana welcomes thousands of visitors every year, yet almost no local businesses accept Bitcoin. That’s a real opportunity.
