Good question. Myself, I’m not sure if we do. On the other hand, I checked out openalex just yesterday and I seem to hardly exist in academia according to it. So: I do hope that reviewers do refer to regular (tax-payer-paid) databases like Scopus or WoS when they check my track record while reviewing my grant proposal next time 🤷🏻‍♂️
