My first #Daggerheart session involved the party fighting a family of oversized geese. In my second session, the penultimate and seemingly climatic fight was supposed to be against an owlbear and kobolds. The surprise: the owlbear was going to be too busy slaughtering the kobolds to bother with the players.
Daggerheart doesn't have an owlbear. I could add one, of course, but I wanted to use something recognizable. They have a fowlbear, which is… goose based.
I'll use a griffin.
