if you're just downloading YouTube audio try seal. It has a self-contained copy of YouTube-DLP. In worst case scenarios you can specify the format code. 18 is the default video + audio, 251 and 139 I think are the two best audio only formats. But I've never had a problem with just clicking on the audio only button in Seal.
